| A very snowy winter.Over 60 inches so far and more predict for tomorrow. The top of the ice was slushy, but when we drilled through we were surprised by how thick it was. The water smelled putrid...rotting fish? The ice was 13.5 inches thick and the water depth was nearly 7 feet. We also drilled a hole at the frog pond. Here the ice was almost 22 inches thick and water was two feet thick | |
