Spring 2001 Field Season
The spring field season began on 1-Apr this year. The club met 10 times, ending the field season on 24-May. As will be seen in the graphs below we trapped a lot fewer frog this year compared to last. This was supported by our frog call index...we heard a lot fewer frogs over a shorter period of time. This spring was the first time that club members took consistent readings of dissolved oxygen, temperature, nitrate and clarity of the water in the pond and the lake. Club members were excited because we were able to make graphs of lake depth and ice time for the last three years. Please look at all our graphs below.
