A Spring is Found
On Febuary 15 Discovery Club Members set out to find to the spring. A local observer in the area reported that he had heard the sound water rushing underneath the snow.

members reported the following data:- They heard the sound of rushing water
- There was snow covered water
- There was no open water
- A Discovery Club Members's foot fell through the snow and into the stream
- Inside the hole they could see a live bullhead and a small blue gill fry
- They also observed a bullhead's head in the snow with prints of a large bird
- They took two DisO2 readings the results are: 1.8 & 2.0ppm
- The water had a foul odor
- Temperature was measured at < 0° C
- Also took sample for NO2 & phosphate
