Here we are on March 29, ready for another spring field season. We hope to make lots of observations; including amphibians (chrous frog, leopard frog, the green tree frog, the american toad,tiger salamanders and painted turtles), water quality measruments (temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, secci distance, nitrate) and migratory birds.

One task for this spring was to install three floating nesting platforms. These platforms were made by former Discovery Club participant Aaron Updike as part of an Eagle Scout project. Check back later for more pictures of the platforms
