During the spring, 1999 Discovery Club members observed the migratory bird activity over a twelve week period. Then we plotted the number of species observed and the number of individual birds observed as spring went along. These graphs show that during February things are pretty quiet , but in the month of March there is a rapid increase in bird activity. The last graph includes data from our automated weather station and shows that there is positive correlation between bird activity and high temperatures.
