Migratory Birds:  The number of individuals and the number of species was recorded on 12 different weeks in the fall and 10 different weeks in the spring.

Automated Weather Station:  Club member used data from weather station at Patrick Marsh Middle School to correlate with the results of their field studies. Real time data from the weather station is now available at http://www.aws.com/realtime.asp?id=SNPRE

Watershed Fair:   In the May of 1999 Discovery Club members presented their research results at the Yahara Watershed Fair in the campus of Edgewood College. Club members were the featured speaker during the plenary session. Club members used a multmedia pesentation (ie powerpoint) to highlight their study which corrlelated a bird survey wich meterorological data with the NBC-15 automated weather station.
